The restaurant is open during de museum season from April 1st. until November 1st starting ar 10.30 a.m.  The kitchen will be open until 5 p.m. Please book lunches in advance at (0031) 595 20 20 17 or e-mail us at schathoes@verhildersum.nl.

Should you have to cancel a booking on the day itself, please phone us. 

Corporate events, Weddings, Parties
Ons Schathoes is a prime venue for weddings or other celebrations. It’s also a great venue for corporate events, for its beautiful sculpture garden and the surrounding estate grounds with their herds of historic breeds of cattle and horses offer plenty of inspiration.
We can accommodate groups up to 60 people for dinner and cater receptions for up to 100 people. Click here for some of our conference or party packages. 

New Name and approach: from Schathuys or Korensant to Ons Schathoes for everybody
Until recently Ons Schathoes was leased and known as a place for fine dining. In those days it was called Schathuys Verhildersum or Korensant Verhildersum. As of May 2019 we manage the restaurant ourselves. We want Our Schathoes to be a place where everybody feels welcome. Hence the name change to Ons Schathoes: a restaurant for all, locals and visitors alike. Your hosts are chef Bert Lange and his brand new brigade.

At Ons Schathoes we also train local people who want to learn how to cook, serve or get to know the Dutch culture. You can count on them to see to your every need!
